Testing Program Terms
In brief: These terms apply only to TestFlight builds. Our Terms of Service apply to them too, and this page adds what is different about a test build and the opt-in testing programs.
These terms cover Dreamerie Beta, our TestFlight app for testers. If you installed Dreamerie from the App Store, none of it applies to you.
Our Terms of Service also apply to TestFlight builds. These terms add what is different about them, and where the two disagree, these terms apply.
The subscription
In TestFlight builds, the subscription’s features are unlocked for you, and you are not asked to buy it. Settings → Test the subscription turns that off on your phone, so you can try buying it in Apple’s test store, where TestFlight testers are not charged.
Dreamerie is not a medical device
If you are invited into Product Tuning and opt into sharing raw data, other vitals are also read. Product Tuning participants also share some of that data with us, and the Product Tuning Notice says exactly what. What the Terms of Service say about readings from Apple Health applies to these vitals too.
No accounts
If you turn on one of our opt-in programs, Beta diagnostics for TestFlight testers or the invitation-only Product Tuning Program, your app creates a random identifier at the moment you agree and not before.
On a TestFlight build, Clear all my data also deletes anything an opt-in program holds on our server. To leave a program but keep using the app, turn it off on that program’s own screen in Settings. The Testing Program Privacy Notice covers all of this in full.
This is early software
Dreamerie Beta is in testing. It is provided as is.
Age
Our Product Tuning Program is separate, invitation-only, and limited to adults 18 and over.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a material way, we will update the date at the top. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the change.
