Terms of Service
In brief: Dreamerie is a sleep-audio app you use at your own discretion, it plays podcasts made by other people, its subscription is sold and billed by Apple, and it is not a medical device.
These terms cover Dreamerie, the app on the App Store. Dreamerie Beta, our TestFlight app for testers, has its own Testing Program Terms.
The agreement
Dreamerie is licensed to you, not sold. Your license is governed by Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement, which covers installation, permitted use, and termination. These terms add the things that are specific to Dreamerie. Where the two disagree, these terms apply to the Dreamerie service and Apple’s agreement applies to the license.
By using the app you accept both. If you do not accept them, delete the app.
Dreamerie is available worldwide except mainland China, Russia, Türkiye, and Belarus.
The subscription
Dreamerie is free to use. An optional annual subscription adds features, which the app describes before you subscribe.
Who sells it. The subscription is sold and billed by Apple through the App Store, under Apple’s terms for in-app purchases. The price for your country is shown in the App Store and in the app before you buy. If you live in the EU or the UK, Apple’s terms describe your right to cancel a purchase within 14 days.
The free month. New subscribers may be offered a free first month. Apple decides who is eligible. If you cancel at least 24 hours before the free month ends, you are not charged.
Renewal. The subscription renews automatically each year unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your Apple Account is charged for the next year within the 24 hours before the period ends.
Canceling. Open the Settings app, tap your name, then tap Subscriptions. You can also start from Dreamerie: open Settings, tap Subscription, then Manage subscription. Canceling stops the next renewal. You keep the subscription’s features until the end of the period you paid for.
Refunds. Apple handles payments, so refunds are Apple’s to grant under Apple’s policies. You can ask at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Price changes. If the price changes, Apple tells you before it applies to you, and asks you to agree first where its rules or the law require it.
When a subscription ends. Nothing is deleted. Your first three favorites and your first three mutes stay as they are. The shows you added, your other favorites and mutes, and your sleep history are hidden but kept on your device, and they come back as they were if you subscribe again. You can remove a favorite or a mute at any time.
Dreamerie is not a medical device
Dreamerie plays audio to help you fall asleep. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition, and nothing in it is medical advice.
If you grant Health access, the app reads your sleep records and your overnight steps on your device. It sets the Auto sleep timer from how long you usually take to fall asleep, it offers to pick up where you fell asleep, and it shows your overnight sleep data, including whether you got up. Those readings come from the devices and apps that write to Apple Health, such as a watch or a ring. They are not clinical measurements, and we do not check them for signs of illness. Do not use Dreamerie to monitor a health condition, and do not rely on it to alert you to anything. If you are worried about your sleep or your health, talk to a doctor.

Podcasts and other people’s content
Most of what you hear in Dreamerie is made by other people. We find podcasts through publicly available RSS feeds and play them from the publisher’s own servers. We do not host that audio and we do not edit it. Episodes play in full, including the ads inside them, which we never remove or replace.
That content belongs to its creators and is subject to their own terms. We do not review every episode, we make no promise about what is in it, and we are not responsible for it. Some podcasts are partly or wholly generated with AI. Publishers do not always say so, and we cannot verify or label it. Catalogs change without notice, so a show you like can disappear when its publisher changes or withdraws the feed.
Some audio in Dreamerie is ours, including our own shows and the background audio. That stays ours. You can listen to it in the app. You cannot copy it, redistribute it, or use it in something else.
If you publish a podcast and do not want it playable in Dreamerie, mark your feed with the standard itunes:block tag and we will honor it automatically. You can also email support@dreamerie.app and we will take it out.
Some of what you hear is synthetic
The narration in our own shows and trailers is generated with licensed synthetic voices, and some of our artwork is AI generated. We say so in each show’s public description and in the app under Settings, then Legal, then Credits. The episode files in our published feeds also carry a machine-readable marker identifying them as AI generated.
Using the app
Use Dreamerie for its intended purpose. Do not try to break into it, overload it, scrape it, resell access to it, or use it to infringe anyone’s rights. We can block access that does any of those things. The app license itself is governed by Apple’s agreement above.
No accounts
Dreamerie has no accounts: nothing to sign up for, no username, no password, and we do not know who you are. Your subscription belongs to your Apple Account, not to us.
To stop using Dreamerie, delete the app. To erase what is on your device, use Settings and then Clear all my data. The Privacy Policy covers this in full.
No guarantees
Dreamerie is provided as is. We do not promise it will always be available, that playback will never fail, or that your data will never be lost, and we may change or discontinue features, or the whole service, at any time.
If we stop offering Dreamerie while you have time left on a paid year, we will tell you at least 30 days before, in the app or on our website, and you can ask Apple for a refund of the unused part at reportaproblem.apple.com.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the app. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and some places do not allow certain exclusions, in which case those do not apply to you.
Age
Dreamerie is not aimed at children. It is rated 13+ on the App Store because you can search and play podcasts from public directories that we do not individually screen. We choose our own library carefully, but a third-party feed can change at any time and we cannot guarantee what is inside every episode. If you are under 13, do not use Dreamerie.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, and disputes go to its courts, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring them where you live.
If you live somewhere whose consumer laws give you rights these terms cannot take away, those rights still apply, and nothing here limits them.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a material way, we will update the date and the version number at the top. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the change.
