I like to fall asleep to podcasts. If I wake at 3 a.m., I want something to ease me back to sleep without fumbling with my phone. I’d leave my podcast app running all night, playing whatever came next, loud ads included. I ended up with hundreds of half-heard episodes from when I fell asleep.
So I built an app that plays the shows I like, alongside ones calm enough for 3 a.m. It keeps me company if I wake in the middle of the night. And with sleep data from my watch, it picks up where I drifted off. It doesn’t stress me out with scores or streaks, and what it learns about me stays on my phone.
That’s Dreamerie, and I’ve fallen asleep to it ever since.
